  • Open Settings app and go to Apps & notifications/Installed apps.
  • Select See all apps and the list of all installed apps will be opened.
  • Tap on Google Play Store in the list.
  • Select “Storage”. After it, tap on Clear cache then on Clear storage.

Restart your phone and open the Google Play Store app. Now you cant ry updating Chrome and Android Webview. If it does not fix the issue, you can proceed with clear cache and storage of the Google Play services also.

6. Clear Cache and Data for Webview

Just like you cleared cache and data of Play Store, you should also clear cache and data for the Android System WebView also. For this, you need to follow the same process Settings > Apps & notifications > Android System WebView > Storage > Clear data and storage.

You can also try clear cache and data for Google Chrome apps also.

7. Download Updates Manually

If have tried all the fixes and nothing is working for you then this solution will definetly work. Now you should manually download the APK files of Android Webview and Chrome from third-part sites and install it on your phone.

Before installing the APK file of the app, security permission should granted to install apps from third-aprty sources.
